A pretty handmade felt brooch/pin made from three layers of merino wool
fibres. Some of the areas are slightly raised and enhanced with machine
stitching. Beautiful 1930's rococco ribbon flower embellishments have
been added as well as hand embroidery using a variety of stitches with
antique silk threads.
In order to make the brooch firm, a layer of Decovil 1 light iron on
interfacing has been sandwiched between the pretty French vintage fabric
back and the felted front. A secure pin has been sewn onto the back.
Measurements - approx. 8.5cms/3.34" deep x 8.5cms/3.34" wide at the widest points.
The brooch will be shipped in a cardboard box covered with a plastic bag to keep it dry.
