Rippling sand in more ways than one.

It has been a few weeks since my last post and for that I apologise. I've been busy taking my daughter to numerous hospital appointments as she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. At 38 years old with two young children, you can imagine the shock for her and her family.

I am trying to snatch some spare time to do some felt making as I find it is so theraputic especially at stressfull times, so please be patient with me if I don't blog as regular as I would like.

My latest venture into feltmaking has been making some elastic structured felt. I bought the book 'Filz Experiment' by Annette Quentin-Stoll and although the book is in German, the excellent photo's give you some idea as to what to do. I started off making a few small pieces which I made into brooches and have just managed to find time to place them on Etsy.
You can find them HERE

I've also made a cuff and as I'm keeping that myself I haven't photographed it yet. I'll show you that in my next blog.
